And wee bits of news to share with you about a concert this Thursday, upcoming Christmas concerts and Sunday Brunches!
o This coming Thursday George Koller and I will be giving a one hour, free, noontime concert at the University of Guelph.  (see below)
o An interview & performance of Acacia Street on Rogers TV Inside Guelph: click here!
o Not one, but TWO Music for a Winter’s Eve CHRISTMAS CONCERTS!! Flutist Ron Korb and I will be giving good cheer and music in AJAX and OAKVILLE on December 18th & 19th. Ron plays many ethnic indigenous woodwind instruments as well as Classical flute. (see below)
o Also in the spirit of the Holiday Season, I am honoured to be performing my composition Winter Frieze with the Guelph Symphony on December 13th, orchestration by Shelly Berger. (see below)
o And finally, I am thrilled to announce that I am now playing pedal harp every Sunday at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto for their Sunday Brunch from 11am until 2pm. (every Sunday, that is, except those I have other concerts on!!!) The brunch is delicious. And the harp entertainment… well…

Carols for Christmas will feature a string quintet and harpist accompanying Saint-Saens’ beautiful Christmas Oratorio. This concert includes readings and poetry about Christmas and winter as well as audience participation in the singing of familiar carols.

December 13th, 3pm – GUELPH, ON
Guelph Symphony Orchestra
Celebrate Christmas with music by the Baroque masters Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel, the exciting battle and snow scenes from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, and our popular traditional Carol Sing-a-long.
Also on the programme is a screening of Raymond Brigg’s animated classic, “The Snowman”, featuring boy soprano Simion Antoniu Ciobanu.
Special guests include: GSO Harpist Sharlene Wallace.
